Paul Rudd's Death of a Unicorn is described as "introspective yet brutal."

In Death of a Unicorn, actors Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega portray a father and daughter journeying into the wilderness when they accidentally hit a unicorn.

Rudd’s character, Elliot, is uncertain whether the unicorn is dead, so he decides to finish the job by hitting the magical creature with a tire iron.

"It's a considerate act, though disturbing," Rudd explained to Morning Edition's Leila Fadel. "But it's thoughtful, in a gruesome way."
